Terms and Conditions for Parent Coaching Services, Course Materials, and Resources

  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your use of the parent coaching services, course materials, and resources (both free and paid) provided by Taflyn Allen Coaching, a business registered in South Africa (the “Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our coaching services, purchasing course materials, or accessing resources, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Services Provided

Taflyn Allen Coaching offers the following services:

  • Parent Coaching Services: One-on-one coaching, group coaching, and online coaching for parents.
  • Course Materials: Digital or physical resources designed to support parenting skills and strategies. These may include e-books, video courses, workbooks, or other educational content.
  • Resources (Paid & Free): Digital printables, toolkits, guides, and other materials designed to support parents and children in emotional regulation and conscious parenting.
  1. Coaching Sessions

3.1 Booking Coaching Sessions

Coaching sessions must be booked via our website, email, or phone. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your session.

3.2 Payment for Coaching

Payment for coaching sessions is required in advance, either on a per-session basis or as part of a coaching package. Payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, or other methods listed on our website. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and may be subject to change.

3.3 Late Payment

If payment is not made by the due date, coaching services may be suspended, and an administrative fee may be charged for late payments.

 

3.4 Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a coaching session.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in the full session fee being charged.
  • Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability.
  1. Course Material and Paid Resource Sales

4.1 Purchasing Course Materials and Paid Resources

Course materials and paid resources can be purchased directly via our website or through other sales channels specified. Upon payment confirmation, digital materials will be made available for download, and physical materials will be shipped as per the selected shipping method.

4.2 Pricing and Availability

Prices for course materials and paid resources are subject to change without prior notice. Availability of digital or physical materials may vary, and we make every effort to keep products in stock.

4.3 Digital Content Delivery

Digital content will be delivered via email or available for download through a secure link provided after payment. Please ensure the correct email address is provided at the time of purchase.

4.4 Refunds and Returns

Course Materials & Coaching Services:

  • Refunds for Digital Course Materials: If you have completed the full course, done the required exercises, and can provide proof of implementation but have not seen any improvement, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will only be considered if supporting evidence of completed work is provided.
  • Physical Products: Returns or exchanges for physical products can be made within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is in its original condition. The client is responsible for the return shipping cost unless the item is defective.
  • Coaching Services: For refund policies related to one-on-one coaching services, please refer to the coaching contract provided upon booking.

Refund Policy for Paid Resources:

Due to the digital nature of our paid resources (such as printables, toolkits, and e-books), all sales are final, and refunds are not provided. If you encounter any issues with a purchased resource (e.g., a file not downloading or incorrect content), please contact us within 7 days for assistance.

  1. Confidentiality and Privacy

We respect your privacy. All personal information shared with us during coaching sessions or while purchasing course materials is confidential. We will not share your information without your consent, except as required by law or as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in South Africa and ensure that your personal data is handled securely.

  1. Code of Conduct

6.1 Professional Conduct

We are committed to delivering high-quality coaching services in a professional manner. In return, we expect all Clients to act respectfully and cooperatively throughout the coaching process and in relation to any purchased materials.

6.2 Abuse of Services

Any inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive behaviour during coaching sessions may result in the immediate termination of the coaching relationship, with no refund for any remaining sessions.

  1. Intellectual Property

All course materials and resources provided by Taflyn Allen Coaching (including but not limited to e-books, videos, workbooks, and any other intellectual content) are the property of Taflyn Allen Coaching and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use the materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Taflyn Allen Coaching.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Taflyn Allen Coaching is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the use of coaching services, course materials, or resources. Coaching services are designed to provide guidance, but success in implementing strategies may vary. We do not accept responsibility for personal, professional, or financial outcomes linked to the use of our services or materials.

  1. Client Responsibilities

As a Client, you are responsible for:

  • Attending coaching sessions as scheduled.
  • Actively participating in the coaching process.
  • Following through with actions or strategies suggested during sessions.
  • Implementing what you learn in order to see results.
  • Informing us of any changes in circumstances that may affect your coaching experience or course material use.

Taflyn Allen Coaching provides coaching services and educational resources but does not offer medical, psychological, or mental health services.

Important Disclaimer:

  • I am a qualified inner life skills coach and a qualified early childhood development practitionernot a licensed mental health practitioner.
  • All coaching, course materials, and resources are for educational and informational purposes only and are not intended to substitute professional mental health support for parents or children.
  • If you or your child are experiencing emotional or behavioural challenges that require medical or therapeutic intervention, please seek support from a licensed mental health professional.
  • I do not and will not diagnose any condition.
  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Taflyn Allen Coaching reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services and purchase of materials constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
